The problem we couldn't ignore
Every therapist eventually sees the same pattern: for every person who walks through the door, there are many more who never do. Not because they don't need support — but because support wasn't built with them in mind. It cost too much, spoke the wrong language, sat in the wrong time zone, or asked them to explain their pain in a framework that wasn't theirs.
Dr. Shikha Kaushik, a licensed clinical psychologist, kept meeting that gap in her own practice — clients who needed more than a weekly session could hold, and communities with no access to care at all. Heal & Revive began as an answer to that gap: a way to extend real, ethical, evidence-based mental health support beyond the walls of a single clinic.
What started as one psychologist's effort to reach a few more people has since grown into a global initiative — built by listeners, counsellors, volunteers, and partner organizations who share the same belief: no one should have to heal alone.
From one practice to a global community
Dr. Shikha Kaushik began asking what mental health support could look like if cost, location, and stigma weren't barriers — and started building toward that answer.
The first listening sessions and workshops brought together trained volunteers and mental health professionals under one shared mission — accessible, ethical care for anyone who needed it.
What began locally grew into an international network of 500+ experts and listeners, reaching people across 78+ countries through counselling, workshops, and community programs.
Today, Heal & Revive runs counselling, listening sessions, youth leadership programs, and global partnerships — with new communities joining every month. The work continues.
"I didn't build Heal & Revive to be seen. I built it because too many voices remain unheard. Every person who reaches out to us today is proof that when you make support accessible, people find their way to it."Dr. Shikha Kaushik — Founder, Heal & Revive
Where we're headed
Our story isn't finished. We're expanding youth leadership programs, deepening our maritime and corporate wellness offerings, and building new partnerships with hospitals, universities, and community organizations around the world.
Every new listener, volunteer, and partner adds another chapter — and there's room in this story for you too.
